A crusader for better health
Montel Williams earned his media celebrity status as an inspirational Emmy Award–winning television personality whom Americans invited into their homes for more than 17 years. He is a decorated former naval officer, inspirational speaker, author, entrepreneur and advocate for patients worldwide.
Montel was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 1999 – but this diagnosis only added more fuel to his passion for healthy living. Seeing it as an opportunity, Montel determined not only to continue living his life fully, but also to help others find health and happiness. To that end, he has spearheaded and helped amplify a number of efforts, several of them listed below:
- Founded the Montel Williams MS Foundation, which funds further scientific study of MS, raises national awareness and educates the public.
- Started his own company, Living Well with Montel, which advocates the role of evidence-based solutions to promote long life and good health.
- Authored eight books, five of them bestsellers, on health- and wellness-oriented topics.
- Served and continues to serve on the board of the Fisher House Foundation, a network of homes where military and veterans’ families can stay while a loved one is receiving medical treatment.
Thanks to his personal efforts to maintain a healthy, whole foods lifestyle, Montel lives a highly energetic life. When he came across the Activz line of whole-food powders in early 2014, Montel quickly realized how Activz powders could simplify his own efforts to eat healthy. He then felt compelled to share that discovery with the millions of health-conscious consumers who have followed his advice for years. That discovery led to the partnership with Activz and the creation of the Stealth Health Revolution.
